<br /> RE: Proposed Therapy Fool at 2303.W.March Lane(Quail Lakes Athletic Club)
<br /> The plans submitted on January 27',2004 to this Department for the proposed therapy
<br /> pool at Quail Lakes Athletic Club are denied approval at this time. The plans must be
<br /> resubmitted to include the following list of itepta that are incomplete on the plans:
<br /> 1. Indicate the number of pumps to be used,the model numbers of the pumps,pump
<br /> curves,and the horsepower of all pumps.
<br /> 2. Show the make and model of the filter you ale proposing.
<br /> 3. Show greater detail oil the plumbing to be used. Indicate sizes of plumbing on the
<br /> suction and return side of pumps.
<br /> 4. Provide this Department with cut sheets for all equipment to be used(pumps,
<br /> filters,main drain covers,equalizer line covers,skimmers,lights,heater„
<br /> chlorinator,flow meter, coping around perimeter of pool, ctc).
<br /> 5. A second skimmer will need to be installed. Show location:
<br /> ✓6. Sidewall mounted main drains are not approved. Swim jet suction roust be floor
<br /> mounted and be an approved type of cover.
<br /> ✓ 7. Separate the main drain filter suction line from the skimmer line. These must be
<br /> separate lines all the way into the equipment TOOm.
<br /> 8. A means of entry and exit into the pool must be provided in the deep end of the
<br /> pool because the depth,is greater then 4 ya feet. Indicate location.
<br /> 9, provide an example of the depth marker tiles to be used on tho plans. Indicate
<br /> location of tiles around the pool,
<br /> V 10.The coping around the pool cannot be over 2 %inches thick and shall have an
<br /> overhangbetween 1 to 2 inches.
<br /> 11. Indicate dimensions of the pool bench. Maximum water depth over the bench is
<br /> 24 inches.
<br /> 12. Indicate pool gallonage and turnover needed. A special purpose pool shall have a
<br /> turnover of two hours. ,
<br /> V 13. Foto feet oru—nobstrueted deck is needed around entire pool. Show this on plans.
