The emergency eye wash station in the Battery Area was tested and it was found that very little water was <br /> released from the eye wash spouts(see photos IMG 8913-6). <br /> 2. The emergency shower station in the Battery Area was tested and it was found that water was not released from <br /> the shower spout when the lever was pulled down, and then some water released when the lever went back to its <br /> initial position (IMG 8913-6). <br /> 3. The pressure gauge on the fire extinguisher found on the post marked"53", located in the warehouse, indicated <br /> that the fire extinguisher needs to be recharged (IMG 8951-6). <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All facility communications or alarm systems,fire protection equipment, spill control <br /> equipment, and decontamination equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to <br /> assure its proper operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the eye wash station,the shower station, and the fire extinguisher into proper <br /> working order by repair, replacement or testing.
