SAN J O A Q I I I N Environmental Health Department <br /> L -0 U N-j- Y I�I AMENDED <br /> 10/28/2019 <br /> RCRA Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> Dollar Tree Distribution Center-Stockton 1 1122 Runway Dr, Stockton October 14, 2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department describing the storage <br /> and final disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 303 CCR 66265.33 Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION:The following equipment was observed not functioning properly and/or not properly maintained: <br /> 1. The emergency eye wash station in the Battery Area was tested and it was found that very little water was <br /> released from the eye wash spouts(see photos IMG 8913-6). <br /> 2. The emergency shower station in the Battery Area was tested and it was found that water was not released from <br /> the shower spout when the lever was pulled down, and then some water released when the lever went back to its <br /> initial position (IMG 8913-6). <br /> 3. The pressure gauge on the fire extinguisher found on the post marked"53", located in the warehouse, indicated <br /> that the fire extinguisher needs to be recharged (IMG 8951-6). <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All facility communications or alarm systems,fire protection equipment, spill control <br /> equipment, and decontamination equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to <br /> assure its proper operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the eye wash station,the shower station, and the fire extinguisher into proper <br /> working order by repair, replacement or testing.
