The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for TRACY CHEVROLET as of February 12, 2021. <br /> Open violations from November 02, 2020 inspection <br /> Violation#403-Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing <br /> hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed in the tank room: <br /> -One 55-gallon container with waste antifreeze observed with non-secure lid for bunghole and funnel for container <br /> not closed. <br /> The following was observed in the scrap metal area: <br /> -One 55-gallon container with used absorbent observed with non-secure lid. <br /> The following was observed in the main shop: <br /> -One 55-gallon container with used paper oil filters observed with non-secure lid. <br /> -One 55-gallon container with used metal oil filters observed with non-secure lid. <br /> The following was observed in the metal shaving area: <br /> -One 5-gallon bucket with metal fines observed with no lid. <br /> The following was observed in the tire maintenance area: <br /> -One 55-gallon bucket with used metal oil filters observed with no lid. <br /> The following was observed in the service area adjacent to office entrance: <br /> -One 55-gallon container with used paper oil filters observed with no lid. <br /> -One 55-gallon container with used metal oil filters observed with no lid. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br /> storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br /> when not adding or removing waste.
