The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for TRACY CHEVROLET as of February 12, 2021. <br /> Open violations from November 02, 2020 inspection <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#601 -Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following hazardous waste containers were found in tire service area with an accumulation <br /> start date of greater than 90 days or no accumulation start date: <br /> -One 55-gallon container with used paper oil filters with an accumulation start date of 4-22-2020. <br /> The following was observed in the service area adjacent to front offices: <br /> -One 55-gallon container with used paper oil filters with an accumulation start date of 7-6-2020. <br /> The following was observed in the scrap metal area: <br /> -One blue 55-gallon container with waste diesel observed with accumulation start date of 10-2-2019. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> (a)a generator may accumulate hazardous waste on-site for 90 days or less <br /> (b)The beginning of the 90 day period is determined as follows: <br /> (1)if the generator does not generate more than 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or one kilogram of acutely <br /> hazardous waste(listed in section 66261.33(e))or one kilogram of extremely hazardous waste during any calendar <br /> month, the 90 day period begins on the date the generator has accumulated 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or <br /> one kilogram of acutely hazardous waste or one kilogram of extremely hazardous waste; <br /> (2)if the generator generates more than 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or one kilogram of acutely hazardous <br /> waste or one kilogram of extremely hazardous waste during any calendar month,the 90-day period begins on the <br /> first date on which any amount of hazardous waste begins to accumulate during that month. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 90 days in <br /> compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations.
