Date: 09/05/2022 <br />Manufacturer training: <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />NOTES <br />-Witnessed overfill prevention equipment testing of new flappers in all four tanks. Verified measurements and functionality. All <br />passed. <br />-Verified that the 87 #2 tank turbine is shut down by the leak detectors. According to the technician, the two 87 tanks are <br />manifolded together at the dispensers, with piping going from one set of turbines to half of the dispensers and the other set of <br />turbines to the other half of the dispensers. Verified that one turbine from each 87 tank comes on when a dispenser is <br />activated. The technician stated that the programming had not been set up properly to shut down the turbines on the 87 #2 <br />tank, but has now been corrected. <br />-Verified all piping is contained within the dispensers. Bravo fiberglass retrofit plates were installed under the necessary <br />dispensers. Dispenser 13/14 was missing a plate - the plate was installed by the technician at the time of inspection. <br />**No Bravo or Franklin Fueling certifications were available for the technician, Omar Ruiz, at the time of inspection. <br />IMMEDIATELY PROVIDE A COPY OF THE BRAVO AND FRANKLIN FUELING CERTIFICATIONS FOR OMAR RUIZ <br />ISSUED PRIOR TO 6/18/21. If these certifications are not provided, testing will need to be redone by a properly certified <br />technician. All EHD staff time associated with reinspection will be billed at the current hourly rate ($152). <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
