Inspect1o6 Report Comments:.,
Routine quaterly inspection conducted on this date and the following was noted:
1. The treated wood waste(TWW)container has signage that has a"container emptied date." It is still
recommended that the signage on the container has a start accumulation date per Title 22 Section
67386.5(b). TWW may be accumulated in containers for no longer than one year from the date the
TWW is generated.
2. The temperature and turning records of the windrows do not indicate when each windrow underwent
the pathogen reduction period. As stated in previous inspection reports, indicate on these records
when each windrow underwent the pathogen reduction period.
3. The facility made the recommended changes to the format of the records for the quantity of feedstock
received and quantity of the compost sold. These changes provide an easier understanding of the
quantities received and sold.
4. Lab results for the metal concentrations, fecal coliform levels, and Salmonella levels of the compost
product show that the compost product has met the state standards.
5. The total amount of material on site was approximately 9,045 cubic yards.
6. The temperature range of the windrows was 81 F to 145 F. The temperatures of the pre-screened
product, the screened product,and the overs was 126 F, 107 F, and 112 F respectively. The
temperature range of the greenwaste piles and the ground material was 128 F to 157 F and 121 F to
152 F respectively.
