es of <br />feedstocks, additives, and amendments <br />The primary processes conducted at the facility are the delivery of compostablemetedmls <br />kreen,agricultural ondfoodvvos1e\pre9aMng1hesemnaterabtmbemmnn (grinding), <br />composting, curing and screening of finished product. <br />There will be four categories of material onthe site; "incomim�"composting," and "'overs" <br />and the finished compost pruduct All plies onsite shall bemonitored atmultiple points for <br />internal temperatures to prevent fires and achieve pathogen reduction. <br />Incoming material —Feedstock Processing Area <br />When material isdelivered tothe site it|sdeposited \manarea reserved for grinding. The <br />incorningmmateMo| consists ofyard trimmings, agricultural residue and curbside collection of <br />green materials, which may or may not be commingled with food scraps. |talso may Include <br />OSB and particle board and woody materials. First, the material is inspected for non- <br />compostable materials. Before being stockpiled or processed, all Incoming material will be <br />immediately spread out for manual screening. The green and commingled material isthen put <br />through the grinder and placed into windrows. All connpostmb|ematerial entering the site will <br />be ground and incorporated within 72hoursofreceipt. The temperatures ofthe feedstock and <br />ground material will betaken onadaily basis. Assoon as- itisformed into windrows, the <br />composting process and conditions associated with this process will begin. <br />OSB and particle board to be composted will be processed with the greenwaste and evenly <br />distributed. The amount of OSB and particle board mixed with the greenwaste will be no more <br />than 5% by volume. <br />The wood waste coming intothe facility will be separated and placed in apile, then ground and <br />stored. The facility will not receive process or remove more than 25 tons per day of wood <br />waste that is takentoafacility used for energy production. this activity \sconsidered tmbee <br />CD|debris processing operation. The maximum time between when this woody material |s <br />received and is ground will be 15 days. The maximum time that this ground material is on-site <br />will be six (6) months. But it is anticipated that this material will be ground within a week and <br />moved off-site within two weeks; and, therefore, that there will bebetween 2Sand 3OOtons of <br />the ground woody material 'n-uitebefore itisshipped. All woody material piles will beio <br />compliance with the dimensional limits set bythe fire department. <br />The site shall not accept commercial foodxvaste,manure mranimal carcasses. Foodxvaste <br />brought In as feedstock will be limited to co -collected green and foodwaste off residential <br />routes. The amount of foodwaste mixed with the greenwaste will not be more than 15% by <br />
