She went into detail about SUSZYCKI <br /> the issues and stated that she did a walk through with the landlord over a month <br /> ago and nothing has been addressed. The complainant also stated that she has <br /> been feeling very sick and is going to be to tested for Hanta virus. <br /> 02/02/2021 Reviewed the complaint and looked up the property on Permits Plus. No permits SUSZYCKI <br /> were listed. This indicates that no permits were issued for at least 28 years. Also a <br /> notice was made in 2004 in LHN stating that no building permits are to be issued <br /> until a perc test is done. <br /> 02/02/2021 Visited the property for a complaint of mold and rodent issues. I met the tenant SUSZYCKI <br /> whose unit was one of two built into a barn/horse arena. I told the tenant that the <br /> units may not have been permit as dwellings, but I would have to look into it. <br /> The exterior of the units had rot on the walls and water pooling heavily against <br /> them. The laundry room had ceiling damage and a recently replaced hot water <br /> heater. The hot water heater was replaced with out permits being issued. <br /> The interior of the tenants unit, the unit on the corner of the structure, had <br /> extensive water damage to the ceiling. The water damage was present in almost <br /> all rooms throughout the unit. One of the light fixtures in the kitchen had staining <br /> on it from what appeared to be leak and the tenant confirmed that during the last <br /> heavy rain water was coming out of it. <br /> Mice Feces were present in some corners of the unit and there was a excessive <br /> number of spider egg cases underneath the sink in the bathroom. No functioning <br /> smoke detectors were present in the unit. <br /> I posted the unit with a Notice and Order to Abate for the substandard conditions. <br /> See PR0546474. <br /> 02/08/2021 Abated the complaint to PR0546474.
