I was shown how the"spot checking"process is conducted.
The produce employee began the"spot checking"during this investigation,
one container was observed to have mold and a few containers had juice/moisture coming from the containers and were
"pulled". Per Merchandising manager sometimes these items can be given back for credit. When raspberries are received
from the Depot they are kept either in the"Fresh Produce"walk-in (40F)or they go straight to the
sales floor.
I did not observe raspberries being stored in the"Fresh Produce"walk-in at this time.
Per merchandising manager the raspberries stay on the sales floor a maximum of 3 days.
FA0001705 C00053412 SCO04 02/17/2021
EHD 16-23 Rev.06/30/15 Page 1 of 2 Food Program Complaint Inspection Report
1868 E.
