In addition, the business was generating used oil and burying it into
the ground.
Discussed the complaint with housing inspector Ciera Lindsay. An appointment
was scheduled to inspect the location at 1:00 p.m.
Prepped for the inspection.
Permission to do the inspection was granted by the tenant, Hermilinda Jiminez.
Hermilinda did not know any English. Accompanying me during the inspection
was property owner Luis Hernandez. He knew Spanish and translated for me.
Hermilinda stated that no shop is being operated at the address. Only
personal/family vehicles are worked on. Any used oil generated is taken to
Pick-n-Pull for disposal. It was unknown where the filters were taken to. I did not
see any mechanic shop hazardous waste at the address and I did not observe any
signs that hazardous waste was being improperly disposed of on the property.
Discussed permit conditions and the San Joaquin County Household Hazardous
Waste facility with the tenant. An onsite inspection report was written and given to
the tenant.
Emailed a copy of the inspection report to Luis at
<Ihernandez@osbornehomes.com>, and Hermilinda's daughter, Isabel, at
<isabeljsosa40@gmail.com>.
Completed a photo log with photos received from Ciera. Gathered the inspection
documents together and abated the complaint as unable to verify. Gave to the
lead senior for review.
5105.rpt Page 1 of 1
