Murphy Rd, Escalon <br /> The following requirements have been identified as pertinent to this project. Other requirements may also <br /> apply. These requirements cannot be modified. <br /> 1. A soil suitability and nitrate loading study incorporating proposed staff and customer use shall be <br /> submitted to the Environmental Health Department, indicating that the area is suitable for septic <br /> system usage. The studies must be approved by the Environmental Health Department prior to <br /> issuance of building permit(s). (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). The <br /> fee will be based on the current schedule at the time of payment). <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the onsite wastewater treatment systems standards <br /> of San Joaquin County prior to approval.A percolation test conducted in accordance with the E.P.A. <br /> Design Manual - Onsite Wastewater and Disposal Systems is required for each parcel. The fee will <br /> be based on the current schedule at the time of payment. <br /> 2. Applicant shall contact Robert McClellon, Program Coordinator, Small Public Water System <br /> Program, at (209) 468-0332, to determine if the existing well can be permitted as a public water <br /> system prior to issuance of building permits. If a public water system is required, applicant shall <br /> submit a Small Public Water System preliminary technical report to the California State Water <br /> Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water (Water Board) at least six months before <br /> initiating construction of any water related improvement, as defined. The issuance of a permit to <br /> operate a small public water system by the local primacy agency (EHD) is prohibited without the <br /> concurrence of the Water Board. Please contact Brian Kidwell, P.E. with the SWRCB Division of <br /> Drinking Water at (209): 948-3963 concerning the requirements for preliminary technical report <br /> submittal prior to issuance of building permits. <br /> If the Water Board determines that an onsite well shall be used as the potable water source, a <br /> permit application to operate Small Public Water System shall be submitted to the EHD for approval <br /> prior to issuance of building permits. To issue a permit to operate, concurrence from the Water <br /> Board is required. A yearly permit to operate a public water system will be required by the EHD <br /> prior to sign of the certificate of final occupancy (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section <br /> 9-1120.2 and 9-1115.9.). <br /> The supplier must possess adequate financial, managerial, and technical capability to assure <br /> delivery of pure, wholesome, and potable drinking water in accordance with San Joaquin County <br /> 1868 E.
