As you may know, I am the Facilities Committee, Chair for Grindstone Joe <br />Association and assisted with the Association's efforts to redo its facilities to a compliant state. We are <br />trying to expedite the new improvements on the island, both water and sewer, a response from the <br />County of concurrence of the attached letter would be of great appreciation. Of course if there are still <br />concerns; we need to know soon. We are coming up on the summer boating season and our 70 year old <br />non-profit association relies on income from cruise-ins to financially survive. At this moment, until our <br />on shore facilities are in compliance we cannot support any activities on the island.
