Complaint Investigation Summary Report #: 5105 COMPLAINT ID: C00050085 Site Location: 13510 E HWY 88 Activity Summary Activity Date Recorded by 07/11/2019 13510 E Hwy 88, re-inspection because I got a call from the owner John Nobriga AFONSKAIA that he replaced the cracked pipe and that he submitted a dangerous construction complaint to the COD. I let him know that I will verify the repair as soon as I am able to. The cracked pipe was replaced and the wetness at the second spot appeared to be caused by a leaking water pipe from above. Tenants upstairs were not home. 07/12/2019 Highway 88 13510. Returned complainant Hal call 663-7795. He maintained the WONG pipe line on the wall outside is leaking sewage; I told him Dana told me she could not confirm that, that she did not see anything leaking. He also has issues with a sewage pipe from the 2nd floor exposed to outside the building. Told him EHD has no jurisdiction on where the plumbing line can be installed, that he should contact the building department. Told him if he sees sewage coming out of the piping or leaking onto the wall outside, take a photo and call us again. 07/16/2019 Spoke to complainant Harold and he said that he believes that the sewer line from AFONSKAIA the second story addition is still leaking. I told him that the leaking is likely from the water line but he believes that there is leakage from a sewer line. I will meet him on site some time next week. Will call him a day in advance. 08/13/2019 Abated complaint. Spoke to complainant Harold to see if there was still any AFONSKAIA sewage leaking after the owner repaired it and he said no it was all resolved. 09/17/2019 Michael wanted pictures that I took for the complaint C00050085 on 13510 E Hwy AFONSKAIA 88 as the owner wants to get the inspection fees waived as he states that the damage was caused by the contractor next door. I gave Michael the pictures of the cracked pipe with toilet paper in it from 7/9/19 when the Robert from the tattoo parlor downstairs had flushed the toilet, a picture of the replaced pipe on 7/11/19, and a picture of the water damage on the side of the building from the water pipe leaking down to the sewage line taken on 7/11/19. Also gave him a copy of the notice to abate and the pictures I sent to the owner. 10/02/2019 Spoke with Giuseppe at the front counter about the owner receiving an email that AFONSKAIA the pipe he used was unpermitted. I told him that I did not send that email I only emailed him about the cracked pipe. And that he had replaced the broken section. However since he was connected to the city sewer he did not have to get a permit with us. He requested that I send him the pictures and the dates of the field inspections.
