All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Rope is tied to life ring. Untie, immediately. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained,readily visible,and available for use.Pools shall have at <br /> minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br /> rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br /> (CCR 65540) <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br /> OBSERVATIONS:There is a large tool shelve next to electrical panels and if full of clutter. It is very difficult and dangerous <br /> (may cause and injury)to turn on pool lights and check the GFI's.This shelve shall be either removed or moved further <br /> away as to make it possible to properly check pools electrical system. Correct by 1 month (lights shall be checked monthly) <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br /> pool. When a pool is used at night,pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br /> not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating"NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK"and shall <br /> secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (31158) <br /> #36 Pressure and Vacuum Gauges <br /> OBSERVATIONS:One influent gauge and an effluent gauge are not working. Replace by 2 weeks. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pressure and vacuum gauges shall be provided for each pump system.
