Ice <br /> reduces swelling and aids in healing. <br /> For 14 days following Cosmetic Tattoo Procedure: <br /> ii Apply aftercare balm sparingly to treated area to keep moist(3-4 times daily). <br /> 11 Do not expose treated area to the sun. <br /> El You may apply make-up over the treated area only with a new clean applicator. <br /> Remove make-up with Petroleum Jelly. <br /> ❑ Absolutely no cleansing creams or chemicals. You may rinse with warm water and pat <br /> dry. <br /> Ei Absolutely no scrubbing. Do not pick at the epithelia crust; allow it to flake off on its <br /> own. <br /> E Do not soak treated area in bath, swimming pool, or hot tub. Do not swim in salt, fresh, <br /> or chlorinated water. <br /> El Do not exercise or preform activities that will result in sweating. <br /> ii. Do not expose the treated area to full pressure water in the shower. <br /> Failure to follow Post Procedure Instructions can greatly affect the results of your cosmetic tattoo by <br /> causing loss of pigment and discoloration. For this reason results cannot be guaranteed. <br /> In addition, Infections can happen from improper aftercare. If any of the following symptoms appear, <br /> seek medical attention right away: expanding redness days after the procedure, increased swelling <br /> tenderness or pain, or presence of puss. <br /> Remember, colors appears brighter and more sharply defined immediately following the procedure. As <br /> the healing progresses, color will soften.
