Box 1810 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Subject : Completeness of Final Closure and Postclosure <br /> Maintenance Plans, Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill, San <br /> Joaquin County, Facility No. 39-AA-0005 <br /> Dear Mr. Horton: <br /> This letter is in response to materials received on May 10, 1993 , <br /> for the final closure and postclosure maintenance plans (Plans) <br /> for the above facility. The items that constitute this closure <br /> plan submittal are : <br /> ► Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill Final Closure and <br /> Postclosure Maintenance Plans, dated November, 1992 (revised <br /> May 5, 1993) , two copies . <br /> The revised Plans are deemed complete and accepted for filing for <br /> consideration of approval by the California Integrated Waste <br /> Management Board (Board) , the Central Valley Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board (Regional Water Board) , and the San Joaquin <br /> County Department of Public Health, Environmental Health Division <br /> [Local Enforcement Agency (LEA) ] . The Agencies will proceed to <br /> review the submittal to: 1) determine that closure and <br /> postclosure maintenance, as described in the Plans, is consistent <br /> with the applicable requirements of Title 14 and Title 23 , <br /> California Code of Regulations; 2) determine the adequacy of the <br /> cost estimates; and 3) verify whether the proposed financial <br /> mechanism is acceptable to provide for the costs of closure and <br /> postclosure maintenance.
