AMENDMENT TO MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM -7- <br />FOR MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE LANDFILLS <br />6. Monitoring Parameters <br />Beginning on 9 October 1994, the Discharger shall analyze water samples from each water - <br />bearing medium separately for the following Monitoring Parameters, and shall test the <br />resulting data using either the statistical or non -statistical methods listed in the Standard <br />Provisions (or alternative methods the Board finds meets the requirements of 23 CCR <br />2550.7(e)(6-10) and 40 CFR 258.53): <br />a. Parameters that use statistical methods: <br />i. pH, total dissolved solids, specific conductivity, chloride, sulfate, and nitrate <br />nitrogen; <br />ii. Each VOC (listed in Attachment 2) that equals or exceeds its respective MDL in at <br />least ten percent of the samples taken from the Background Monitoring Points for a <br />monitored water -bearing medium (i.e., surface water body, aquifer, perched zone, <br />or soil -pore liquid) during a given Reporting Period; and <br />b. Parameter that uses non -statistical method: <br />the composite monitoring parameter "VOC,.ter ", consisting of all VOCs listed in <br />Attachment 2. <br />Ordered by: (U� - Ri—J, <br />WILLIAM H.
