<br /> On-site to witness borings and soil sampling.
<br /> Sampling was conducted by geologist Tom Smith of WGR.
<br /> 4 samples were taken from beneath the UST(at 13 feet and 15 feet of each slant boring). The samples were labeled:
<br /> TP1-13,TP1-15,TP2-13, and TP2-15
<br /> 22 samples were taken from beneath the piping at a depth of 5 feet. The samples were labeled: PL1, PL2, PL3, PL4, PL5,
<br /> PL6, PL7, PL8, PL9, PL10, PL11, PL12, PL13, PL14, PL15, PL16, PL17, PL18, PL19, PL20, PL21, and PL22.
<br /> Sample PL17 had an odor. The driller Leo Santos stated it was"stinky"when he pulled out the hand auger from the ground
<br /> which contained the soil that was sampled.
<br /> Samples PL5, PL6, PL7, PL8, PL9, PL1 0, PL1 2, PL1 3, PL1 4, PL1 5, PL1 6, PL1 7, and PL22 were taken from the hand auger.
<br /> Samples TP1-13, TP1-15, TP2-13, TP2-15, PL1, PL2, PL3, PL4, PL1 1, PL1 8, PL1 9, PL20, and PL21 were taken from the
<br /> tremie of the geoprobe.
<br /> 1 black metal 55 gallon drum was filled approximately halfway with the soil from the borings. The drum was labeled with a
<br /> hazardous waste label and was left on site.
<br /> The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and
<br /> Safety Code.If a reinspection is required,fees will be assessed at the current hourly rate.
