When I arrived, several deputies the realtor working for the <br /> owner the occupant <br /> wife, daughter, and daughters friends were there. The deputies and <br /> rea or stated that the home had no heat and hazardous electrical wiring. <br /> _the realtor, said that the home was up for sale and no one was supposed to <br /> be living in it. He said that the electrical and heating issues wer ead known to <br /> them and the house was for sale as is said that a rented <br /> the property to them but now they could no get a hold of her. believes <br /> that him and his family were a victim of fraud. <br /> vas very cooperative and allowed me to inspect the home. I found the <br /> ome clean but throughout it there were holes in the walls and ceilings where <br /> electrical wires were hanging out. The wires inside the home were capped. <br /> When I went down to the cell a electrical box located there was in disarray and <br /> the furnace pulled apartstated that they have someone coming to fix the <br /> heater in few days. A space heater was present in the daughters room. <br /> From the electric box containing the PG&E meter through the attached garage, <br /> into the home was a large"main line" cable. The cable had been improperly <br /> spliced inside the garage exposing the wiring. Th Iso was not property <br /> secured or insulated. I explained my concerns tc and told him that I would <br /> give him a few days to correct the issue under permit or I would have to red tag <br /> the home. <br /> I posted the home with a Notice and Order to Abate. <br /> See PR0546505. <br /> 02/12/2021 Abated the complaint to PR0546505.
