The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br />addressed for MIRACLE MILE MARKET as of March 09, 2021. <br />Open violations from December 09, 2020 inspection <br />Violation #105 - No emergency coordinator available for emergency response. <br />OBSERVATIOI�t A complete modified contingency plan with an assigned emergency coordinator was not posted at <br />the facility. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: The emergency coordinator or his designee must respond to any emergencies that <br />arise. The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in areas directly involved in <br />the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency telephone number of the <br />emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the telephone number of the <br />fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately post the required information at the facility. Provide a statement to the San <br />Joaquin County Environmental Health Department that the correction is complete. <br />❑ This violation was corrected Q This violation will be corrected by (date): O S (�(` � <br />❑ Supporting documents included ( u-.� <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: �-�. ��=-cro.���. ��,� <br />Violation #106 -Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures. <br />OBSERVATIOI�t At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated (not necessarily documented) that <br />employees who handle hazardous waste were properly trained. When employee Abdullah was asked how he would <br />clean up a spill and where their spill kit was located, he could not provide an answer. After making a phone call, <br />Abdullah was able to locate the absorbent. When asked what he would do with the used absorbent, he stated he <br />was unsure and stated he would throw it in the garbage. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br />waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br />emergencies. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees.
