We sent an email asking Kaiser to
respond. Yesterday afternoon they sent two letters detailing each event. Both letters are included in this email.

The first disposal event occurred at the Stockton Medical Office. Hazardous and non‐hazardous medications were
disposed of and taken to the East Stockton Waste Transfer Site for processing. After that they were taken to Forward
Landfill.

Would you like to follow‐up with the transfer station and the landfill? Or would you like us to? We are reaching out to
Kaiser to find out which of the medications were hazardous and which were non‐hazardous‐ or medical waste. We will
let you know any additional information Kaiser provides us.

The second disposal event occurred at the Tracy Medical Office. One 100 tablet bottle of Oxycodone 5mg was disposed
of and taken for incineration.

Would you like to follow‐up with this incident as well for the disposal of the waste?

Thank You,

John Alaniz

REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 E Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205

Phone: (209) 616‐3053
Fax: (209) 468‐3433
