Maribel- The City has assumed operating responsibilities of the teen center since our agreement with Family Resource and Referral has expired. The center has been unoccupied since March 2020 due to the pandemic as well as some deferred maintenance repairs that need to be done before we open back up to the public. We are waiting for the assessments and work to be concluded before we are given the approval to occupy. We anticipate 3-6 months at the earliest. As for scheduling the inspection, Brandt Evans, Recreation Supervisor, and his section will be responsible for daily operations once reopened.
