Geosyntec'%
consultants
Description of Surrounding Property/Population:
North: School East: Commercial
South: Commercial/Residential West: Residential
Summary of Previous Site Investigations (if available/applicable):
Tetrachloroethene(PCE)was released to the soil and groundwater through breaks in the sanitary
sewer lines that serviced 3 historical dry cleaning businesses in the Lincoln Village Shopping
Center. The primary constituents historically reported in the groundwater, soil and soil vapor at
the site include PCE and the PCE degradation product trichloroethene (TCE). Other PCE
degradation products have been detected at low levels in groundwater, including 1,2-
dichloroethene(cis-1,2-DCE and trans-1,2-DCE)and vinyl chloride.
PCE. The highest reported concentrations are 85 milligrams per liter (mg/1) in groundwater
(May 1997); 63 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg) in soils beneath the former Norge Cleaners
(October 1987); and 160 mg/I in a sewage sample collected from manhole D(March 1985).
TCE. The highest reported concentration is 0.91 mg/l in groundwater(November 1997); TCE
has been detected in soil samples collected from Lincoln Center at low concentrations
maximum of 0.004 mg/kg).
SAC I 1 I I HASP—Revision—October 2020 7 10/22/20
