C&�TCli3EE 2tlZu HAZARDOUS WASTE PROGRAM <br />CORE TEAM TRAINUNG GUIDE <br />f. The product name is written on the plastic bag of any item with a missing or <br />unreadable label. <br />g. "Leakers" are double -bagged and include all materials used for spill clean-up <br />(absorbent, paper towels, gloves, etc.). <br />h. Waste has not been stored for more than the allowed 180 days. <br />i. Accumulation supplies (bags, gloves, goggles, spill kit, etc.) are stocked and <br />available (inspected on Mondays only). <br />j. The eye wash station and other emergency response equipment are operational <br />(inspected on Mondays only). <br />k. The fire extinguisher closest to the accumulation area has been serviced and <br />includes a current service tag (inspected on Mondays only). <br />4. As each item is inspected, the Receiver (or ICC) initials the appropriate box in the <br />accumulation area section of the form to indicate that it has passed inspection. Any <br />items/areas not meeting inspection standards must be corrected before the form can be <br />initialed. <br />5. When the inspection is complete, the Receiver (or ICC) initials the form and notes any <br />comments in the space provided, then returns the clipboard to the designated location in <br />the accumulation area. <br />Reclamation boxes and outer departments <br />1. Between 3:00pm and 4:00 <br />pm, the Assistant Store Manager/Grocery Manager (or Store <br />Manager, Center Store Manager/Assistant Grocery Manager) obtains the clipboard <br />containing the current week's Daily Hazardous Waste and Reclamation Inspection form <br />from the accumulation area. <br />2. With the clipboard in hand, the ASM/GM (or Store Manager, CSM/AGM) inspects the <br />following: <br />a. Reclamation boxes DO NOT contain hazardous <br />waste, expired over-the-counter pharmaceuticals, or <br />products that are potentially saleable or useable. <br />Inappropriate product must be removed. <br />b.
