The site investigation conducted on August 16, 2007 <br />revealed that waste extended beyond the facility property boundary. A letter from the EHD dated August 27, 2007 directed county Solid <br />Waste Division and Caltrans to provide a time line for compliance with closure requirements found in Title 27 CCR and to work with Caltrans <br />to further delineate and close the waste on their property. The EHD has received a response from Caltrans and county Solid Waste Division. <br />Addendum to the Closure/Post Closure Maintenance Plan has been received from county Solid Waste Division. The EHD will maintain the <br />violation on the inspection report untill all closure cap work is finished. <br />X <br />20830 - Litter Control <br />Comments: Litter observed near fence boundary on the northeast and southeast sides. Continuation of AC from the last inspection. <br />- Remove litter for proper disposal. <br />Inspection Report Comments: <br />Notes: <br />A. Probes at monitoring wells # 1A, 6, 5 and 3 measured less than 5% methane by volume of air. <br />B. Recommended to increase drainage depth for better drainage control. <br />C. Operator shall provide erosion prevention control at the northwest side of the landfill before rain season starts. <br />D. Flare was operating at time of inspection. <br />E. Vegetation was at minimum at time of inspection. <br />F. Previous AC cleared. <br />
