Prior to performing an HRA, it is <br /> recommended that development project applicants contact the District to <br /> review the proposed modeling protocol. A development project would be <br /> considered to have a significant health risk if the HRA demonstrates that the <br /> project related health impacts would exceed the Districts significance <br /> threshold of 20 in a million for carcinogenic risk and 1.0 for the Acute and <br /> Chronic Hazard Indices, and would trigger all feasible mitigation <br /> measures. For development projects the District recommends <br /> that an AAQA be performed for the project if emissions exceed 100 pounds per <br /> day of any pollutant. <br /> If an AAQA is performed,the analysis should include emissions from both project <br /> specific permitted and non-permitted equipment and activities.
