The nearest occurrence of least Bell's vireo in the <br /> southern California CNDDB (2021) search area is a historical population from <br /> riparian forests. 1878 mapped non-specifically in downtown Stockton, <br /> approximately 3 miles northwest of the site. <br /> White-tailed Elanus leucurus None FP N/A Herbaceous Low: the disked grassland in the site provides suitable <br /> kite lowlands with foraging habitat for white-tailed kite and trees in and near the <br /> variable tree growth site are suitable for nesting. The nearest occurrence of white- <br /> and dense tailed kite in the CNDDB (2021) search area is approximately <br /> population of voles. 1 mile northwest of the site. <br /> Burrowing owl Athene None SC N/A Open, dry annual or Low: the disked grassland in the site provides poor quality <br /> cunicularia perennial habitat for burrowing owl. Only a few scattered ground <br /> grasslands, deserts squirrel burrows were observed in the site. No burrowing <br /> and scrublands owls were observed in or adjacent to the site during the field <br /> characterized by low- survey. There are a few records of nesting burrowing owls in <br /> growing vegetation. the CNDDB (2021) search area within a few miles of the site <br /> and the nearest record is 0.5 miles north of the site. <br /> Mammals <br /> Riparian brush Sylvilagus E E N/A Riparian thickets in None: the project site and adjacent areas do not provide <br /> rabbit bachmani Stanislaus and suitable habitat for riparian brush rabbit. There is no scrub- <br /> riparius southern San shrub vegetation in or near the site to support this species. <br /> Joaquin Counties. There are no occurrences of riparian brush rabbit recorded in <br /> the CNDDB (2021) in the search area. <br /> Reptiles & Amphibians <br /> California Rana aurora T SC N/A Lowlands and Unlikely: there is no suitable aquatic habitat for California <br /> red-legged draytonii foothills in or near red-legged frog in or near the project site. California red- <br /> frog permanent sources legged frog is also presumed extinct on the floor of the <br /> of deep water with Central Valley of California. There are no recorded <br /> dense, shrubby or occurrences of this species in the CNDDB (2021) search <br /> emergent riparian area.
