Geotechnical Engineering Investigation Page 1 of 24 <br /> New Residential Subdivision <br /> 2706 Pock Lane <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> March 30, 2021 CTE Job # 25-1097G <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> 1.1 Introduction <br /> This report presents the results of the Geotechnical Engineering Investigation, performed by <br /> CTE CAL, Inc. (CTE) for the proposed development consisting of designing and constructing <br /> a new residential subdivision. The residential subdivision is to be constructed at 2706 Pock <br /> Lane in Stockton, California. The investigation contained herein included surface and <br /> subsurface field explorations, laboratory testing of site soil deposits, geologic and seismic <br /> hazard evaluation of the project site, and engineering evaluation and analysis of the <br /> proposed project site and improvements. The report provides conclusions and <br /> recommendations regarding the geotechnical design parameters and construction <br /> recommendations for the proposed development. <br /> Based on the results of the investigation and analysis performed by CTE the project is considered <br /> feasible if the recommendations contained herein are incorporated into design and construction. <br /> References utilized in the investigation and analyses cited are presented in Appendix A. <br /> 1.2 Scope of Services <br /> The scope of services provided for this investigation included: <br /> • Review of readily available geologic reports and documents pertinent to the site area. <br /> • Explorations to determine subsurface conditions to the depths influenced by the proposed <br /> construction. <br /> • Laboratory testing of representative soil samples to provide data to evaluate the geotechnical <br /> design characteristics of the site foundation soils. <br /> • Determination of the general geology and evaluation of potential geologic seismic hazards at <br /> the site. <br /> • Preparation of this report describing the investigations performed and providing <br /> opinions/conclusions and geotechnical engineering recommendations for design and <br /> construction. <br />
