COMPLAINANT AND HIS SISTER HAS BOTH HAD THE SAME PROBLEM FOR SEVERAL <br />WEEKS. THEY BUY MEAT AND STORE IT IN THEIR FREEZER. WHEN THEY THAW IT BEFORE COOKING, THE <br />MEAT IS BAD BEFORE THEY EVENT COOK IT. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />#35 Equipment/Utensils Approved and in Good Repair <br />OBSERVATIONS: Food inside the walk in freezer are not kept frozen. Several foods are soft. Frozen food shall be kept <br />solid not soft. This freezer shall be immediately repaired as to extend meat shelve life. Adjust freezer to the recommended <br />10 F or lower. A re-inspection will take place in 1 week to verify compliance. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All utensils and equipment shall be fully operative and in good repair. (114175). All utensils and equipment <br />shall be approved, installed properly and meet applicable standards. Most packaged meats are dated 01/08/21 thru <br />01/10/21. There was one (chicken) that was dated 01/04/21 and was immediately removed from customer area.
