SAN JOAQUIN <br />COUNTY — <br />f r !,ss qco h , <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Time In: 10:22 am <br />Time Out: 10:40 am <br /> <br />COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br />Name of Facility: COSTCO WHOLESALE #38 Date: 02/17/2021 <br />Address: 1616 E Hammer LN, STOCKTON 95210 <br />Owner/Operator: COSTCO WHOLESALE CORPORATION Telephone: (209) 478-2040 <br />Program Element: 1600- FOOD PROGRAM Complaint #: C00053412 <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />COMPLAINANT ALLEGES THEY PICKED UP A PACK OF RASPBERRIES AND OBSERVED MOLD IN THEM. <br />COMPLAINANT ALERTED THE MANAGER AND THE MANAGER REMOVED THEM FROM THE SHELF. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION -- TEMP 0 F -- COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />NOTES <br />I spoke to the manager who was not aware of the complaint. <br />I spoke to the merchandising manager who also was unaware of the complaint. <br />Per Merchandising manager the raspberries come to the facility from the Tracy Depot and the temperature is taken of the <br />product upon receipt. <br />Raspberries and produce are spot checked every day throughout the day. <br />I observed pallets where the raspberries are kept for sale. <br />Raspberries are checked for freshness. I was shown how the "spot checking" process is conducted. <br />The produce employee began the "spot checking" during this investigation, <br />one container was observed to have mold and a few containers had juice/moisture coming from the containers and were <br />"pulled".
