The Property is currently a <br />vacant agricultural field. The Property is located to the southwest of the intersection of Byron Road <br />and Mountain House Parkway, in Mountain House, California. <br />The purpose of the assessment is to obtain a baseline level of metals and fuel compounds within <br />the soil and groundwater at the future location of underground storage tanks (USTs) and fuel <br />pumps. <br />PROPOSED SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Soil and Groundwater Assessment <br />Soil and Groundwater Sampling <br />® Up to four soil borings will be completed using a direct push drill rig as show in Figure 1. Soil <br />samples will be retrieved within continuous GeoprobeO acetate core liners measuring 5 feet <br />in length. Continuous soil cores from each boring will be logged by an ENGEO geologist or <br />engineer. Specific soil samples will be collected for laboratory analysis by cutting 6 -inch <br />portions of the Geoprobe soil core liners corresponding to the respective desired sampling <br />depths in each location. <br />Up to three soil borings for environmental and geotechnical purposes will be completed using <br />a hollow stem drill rig as shown in Figure 1. Soil samples will be retrieved within modcal liners <br />measuring six inches in length. Soil from each boring will be logged by an ENGEO geologist <br />or engineer. Specific soil samples will be collected for laboratory analysis. <br />Soil cores will be screened with a Photoionization Detector (PID) for volatile organic vapors. <br />If significant PID readings are recorded for other soil samples, additional samples will be <br />collected and submitted for laboratory testing.
