All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine at 11 ppm. Adjust to 3-10 ppm. The spa must closed until the proper free chlorine is <br />maintained. Call for a reinspection at 209468-0334. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION. Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#24 VGB Suction Covers <br />OBSERVATIONS: When the spa was remodeled the sumps were not verified by this department. It was requested on the <br />report to provide photos of the sumps under the covers for the main drains and jet suction. The equalizer cover was not <br />installed properly. The spa must closed until this are verified.
