All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: The chlorine is at 14.6 ppm. The chlorine must remain between 2.0 and 10.0 for pools. The pool is to be <br />closed until the chlorine concentration is below 10.0 ppm. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: Cyanuric acid concentration is greater than 100 ppm. The cyanuric acid must remain below 100 ppm. <br />Correct before the next routine inspection. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) <br />#18 Pool Shell and Tile <br />OBSERVATIONS: Scaling is occurring on the pool tile. Remove the scaling by next routine inspection. <br />Pool tile is missing on north side of pool revealing a crack in the shell. Fill the crack in the shell and replace the missing tile <br />by next week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shells shall be white and have a smooth waterproof interior Finish that will withstand repeated brushing, <br />and scrubbing. A spa pool may be finished in a light color other than white when approved by the enforcement agency.
