All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Sign lacking pool capacity, facility address and emergency services phone number. Repeat violation. <br />Correct today. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br />#5 Restrooms and Showers <br />OBSERVATIONS: Restrooms are unsanitary. Clean restrooms, provide soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and cold water <br />(men's restroom). Repeat violation. Correct today. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall ensure the following facilities are maintained and kept clean: showers, toilets, dressing <br />facilities, drinking fountains, diaper -changing stations, floors, walls, partitions, doors, and lockers. Showers (except outside) shall be <br />provided with soap in dispensers. Toilet facilities shall be provided with toilet tissue, hand soap, and paper towels or hot air blowers in <br />permanently installed dispensers. Pool operator shall provide a minimum of one waste receptacle in each toilet facility. Wooden slats, <br />duckboards and footbaths are prohibited. ( CCR 65535, 6555 1) Showers and lavatories shall be provided with hot and cold water faucets. <br />Maximum water temperature at showers and lavatories shall not exceed 110'F. (CBC 31168) <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine at 11.4ppm. Maintain free chlorine between 2-10ppm. Correct today. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION., Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br />maintain the following concentrations., 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br />cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 <br />ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine.
