All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closurs pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Chlorine was measured at 0. (Corrected on site). Chlorine re -measured at 4.0 <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#1 Pool Gates <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed pool door and door to men and women locker room was prop opened using door stop for <br />ventilation purposes. (Corrected on stie). Observed women locker room door is not self closing and does not dose. <br />Observed men locker room door is not self dosing. Provide self-closing gates or door within 1 weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION., Gates and doors leading into the pool area shall be equipped with self-closing self -latching devices. <br />Self -latching devices shall be designed to keep the gate or door securely closed. Gates and doors shall open outward from the pool area <br />except where otherwise prohibited bylaw (CBC 31198) Pool operator shall keep gates and doors leading into the pool area well <br />maintained.
