SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> Introduction <br /> Live Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (Live Oak) was contracted by Kevin Swanson to <br /> conduct a Soil Suitability Study and Nitrate Loading Study for the property located at <br /> 15010 North Glasscock Road, Lodi, California. <br /> The Soil Suitability Study and Nitrate Loading Study are combined under this report <br /> cover and presented as two sections of this report. The formatting of the report has <br /> been designed to follow the recommendations of the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department as described in its Soil Suitability Study <br /> Requirements Checklist and Nitrate Loading Study Requirements Checklist. <br /> The Soil Suitability Study was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of <br /> Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. <br /> Proposed Development <br /> The proposed project is the placement of a mobile home on the Site as the manager's <br /> residence. <br /> Site Description <br /> The Site is composed of Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 025-030-04, 6.44 acres in <br /> size. The Site is located at 15010 North Glasscock Road, Lodi (Plate 1). <br /> Five storage unit buildings and a domestic well are located on the Site (Plate 2). <br /> The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic <br /> map, is approximately 9 to 10 feet below mean sea level. The Site is relatively flat <br /> (Plate 3). <br /> According to the San Joaquin County District Viewer (sjmap.org), the Site is zoned C-X, <br /> Crossroads Commercial. The San Joaquin County Community Development <br /> Department states that this zoning designation "is intended to provide a limited variety <br /> of retail and service uses and agriculturally related uses at specific intersections to <br /> serve rural residents outside of designated urban and Rural Communities." <br /> LOGE 2110 Page 1 <br />
