Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for <br /> any applicable permits and requirements . <br /> 2 . Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones . <br /> 3 . Provide written notification to ust (a sogov . org to arrange the following inspection appointments <br /> ( a 48 - hour notice is required for inspection appointments) . Please be aware that inspections for <br /> emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval . <br /> a . Sensor functionality : Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to ensure that <br /> monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 California Code of <br /> Regulations and the Health & Safety Code . A copy of the alarm history shall be printed <br /> prior to performing the cold start of the monitoring panel , and made available at the time of <br /> EHD inspection . <br /> 4 . Any individual performing the work of a service technician must meet the following <br /> qualifications : <br /> a . Possess or be employed by a person who possesses one of several permissible valid , <br /> current contractor' s licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board ( may be issued <br /> to the installation company) , or a Tank Tester' s license issued to the individual by the State <br /> Water Board <br /> b . Possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically <br /> present at the work site who possesses a valid , current California UST Service Technician <br /> certificate issued by the International Code Council ( ICC) <br /> c . Possesses a valid , current certificate of training from the manufacturer( s ) of the <br /> component(s) being tested , repaired , or serviced <br /> 5 . The tank owner or operator shall log into the California Environmental Reporting System <br /> (CERS ) at http : //cers , calepa . ca , gov/ and ensure all UST information is current . <br /> 1868 E .
