The fire burned about 25 acres of the vegetation and burned some of the gas
wellheads. As a result of the damage to the gas wellheads, the flare system shut down and is
currently not working. Our engineering staff will be doing a more thorough damage
assessment ASAP and will work to fix the damages at the gas wellheads so that the flare
system can resume operation. Once the flare system is in operation, we'll notify you. At this
time, it appears that the fire started on the south shoulder of the roadway on Corral Hollow
Road and due to high winds, spread to the landfill.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please let me know.
Thank you.
Jaime L.
