We have <br /> handled over 100 cubic yards a day. The site surface is <br /> concrete. Traffic flow is about 50 vehicles per day con- <br /> sisting mainly of trucks. <br /> 3. The waste is dumped at the site and sorted utilizing <br /> a conveyor, loader, hand sorter and forklift. All recov- <br /> erables are hauled to secondary dealers. <br /> a. 8am to Spm Seven days a week. <br /> b. Fully equipped restrooms are used. <br /> c. Average rainfall is less than 20 inches per year. <br /> Very little snowfall. <br /> d. All recovery is done by our employees under our <br /> supervision. <br /> Equipment utilized are roll-off trucks and roll- <br /> off containers. The number varies according to <br /> volumne from 1 to 4. <br /> e. Noise has never been a problem. We have had. no <br /> complaints in regards to noise. <br /> f. We handle no special wastes. <br /> g. We handle no hazardous wastes. <br /> 5. Litter that accumulates is swept up continually. We <br /> handle no residential waste which might attract rodents and <br /> insects, so they are not a problem. Equipment is avail- <br /> able from many local dealers to rent in case of break- <br /> downs. We have no provisions for power failure-contact <br /> P.G. & E. All solid waste is hauled away daily. Any <br /> excessive dust is watered down. Fire extinguishers and <br /> water systems are available in case of fires. <br /> 6. Transfer equipment is in 40 cubic yard trucks.
