The plan was amended and resubmitted on December 12, 2008. The distance between some of <br />the wells exceeded 1000 ft. The operator was directed to install two aditional wells prior to the October 2009 deadline. The site operator will <br />be submitting an amendment to the December 12, 2008 plan by the end of May 2009. <br />�rt�r X P Y rr �� 'Mar W`� <br />tnspiactlOri;t2{�tzt►nmrlfsK aM+€rr za Rr rt:: illiONs ` I• Rf t q ,tii, <br />AC 20939 (b) (1) - Sub -surface Landfill Gas Control System; The facility has experienced 7 sub -surface landfill fires in the last 18 months. The site <br />operator is working with the CIWMB to resolve the issue. Changes have occured to remediate the condition (soil placed and compacted over the area <br />where the fires have occurred, Well head monitoring for temp and CO, Re -balancing the field to lower 02 in the header pipe). Resolution is still <br />pending, but expected soon. Notes: A. The daily cover consisted of Traps, Trap"o"matic, soil, PGM and TASW. The site was utilizing tow working <br />faces. One for the MSW and another for special waste. B. Litter was contained onsite. The use of litter fences was affective. C. The down spouts for <br />storm water were clogged by tumble weeds. Remove D. The perimeter gas probes were monitored during the inspection and the result are as follows: <br />GP9 (S)(1)(D) 0.0% CH4 GPI 1(S) 0.8% CH4 (1) 1.0% CH4 (D) 0.0% CH4 GP12(S)(1)(D) 0.0% CH4 <br />
