The components missing <br />are: location (s) of fire extinguishers and location (s) of spill control equipments. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in <br />areas directly involved in the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency <br />telephone number of the emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the <br />telephone number of the fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately post the required information at the facility. Provide a statement to the San <br />Joaquin County Environmental Health Department that the correction is complete. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />403 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br />waste. <br />OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed on-site: One 55 gallon <br />blue steel drum of petroleum mix with water was observed in the dumpster area not tightly closed. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br />storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br />when not adding or removing waste.
