Soil Assessment Report
324 East 11th Street
Tracy, California
October 12,2017
metals were either below ESLs or non-detect. No mercury concentrations were detected above laboratory
reporting limits.
WATER WELL SURVEY
Agency correspondence requested that Pangea conduct a well survey if a well survey was not available on
Tracy High School records on Geotracker. Since Pangea could not find an existing well survey, Pangea
reviewed the Geotracker GAMA website. As summarized on Figure 2 and Table 3, the GAMA records
show wells at six locations within 1,000 ft of the site, but no active wells within 250 ft of the site.
The closest well is municipal well No. 9 Wainwright, which the February 13, 2017 agency letter
confirmed has been properly destroyed. This well destruction was a key consideration allowing the
Regional Water Board to close the former leaking UST case at the adjacent Tracy High School. No. 9
Wainwright is identified as City of Tracy well 3910011-017 according to California Department of Public
Health—Stockton District records.
The next closest well identified on GAMA is well 02S05E21ROO1M, located approximately 450 ft west-
southwest of the site. As shown on Table 2,the remaining wells are approximately 700 to 900 ft from the
site. Two of the well locations have two wells identified at each location. The identified wells are unlikely
to be impacted by the plume, given the groundwater plume that exceeds water quality objectives is likely
less than 250 feet in length.
5
