Tracy Office Plaza Page 2 of 2
324 East Eleventh St., January 15, 2015
Tracy, CA 95376
Summary of Released Waste:
Based on analytical data provided by Pangea Environmental Services, Inc., groundwater samples
collected on July 8, 2013, between 9 to 15 feet below surface grade, yielded results as high as 33,000
micrograms per liter (pg/L) of total petroleum hydrocarbons as motor oil (TPH-mo), 72,000 pg/L of
total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPH-d), and 7,300 pg/L of total petroleum hydrocarbons as
gasoline (TPH-g). In soil samples collected on July 8, 2013, TPH-g concentration in soil at 1 foot bsg
was reported as high as 2,400 pg/L and TPH-g was also detected in a soil sample collected at 10 feet
bsg at a concentration of 380 pg/L. Neither TPH-mo nor TPH-d were analyzed for in soil samples
collected this day.
Based on analytical data provided by Pangea Environmental Services, Inc., groundwater samples
collected on July 10, 2014 yielded results as high as 410 pg/L TPH-g (collected between 15 to 20 feet
bsg), 280 pg/L TPH-d (collected between 21 to 24 feet bsg), and TPH-mo was reported as "ND" (with
reporting limit as high as 750 pg/L). In soil samples collected at 1 foot bsg on July 10, 2014,
concentrations were reported to be 160 pg/L of TPH-mo; 2,600 pg/L of TPH-g; and 800 pg/L of
TPH-d.
Unless notified that jurisdiction by the California Department of Toxic Substances or the Central Valley
Regional Water Quality Control Board is or will be assumed for the investigation and remediation of
the released waste at this site, the EHD will proceed with entering into the Voluntary Remedial Action
Agreement once the ten (10) working day notification period has expired.
Please contact Adrienne Ellsaesser at (209) 468-0343 for more information.
Adrienne Ellsaesser, REHS
Program Coordinator
Ec: Leona.Winner@dtsc.ca.gov
