John Yoakum [EH]
From: John Yoakum [EH]
Sent: Tuesday,July 30, 2013 2:14 PM
To: 'Jim Barton'
Subject: 324E 11th Street, Tracy
Attachments: 324 E 11th Street results.pdf
Jim,
I received this set of test results that looks dirty.
I have attached a copy of the report to this e-mail.
I was not sure how to proceed, so I thought I would ask you what to do.
The San Joaquin County RO number is RO0002083.
The site number is SD0002048.
The permit number is SR0067456.
The address is 324 D 11th Street,Tracy, CA.
Though the cover sheet says"The SJCEHD and the Regional Water Quality Control Board will determine if additional
action is required." I see nothing that shows that you were notified.
The sixth page (numbered page 4) says The maximum TPHg concentration detected during this investigation was 2,400
milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg) in boring B-1 at a depth of 1 ft. TPHg was also detected at a concentration of 130
mg/Kg in boring B-1 from 5' depth.
Benzene was detected at 2.3 mg/kg in boring B-1 at 10'.
Toluene(32 mg/kg), ethylbenzene (9.7 mg/kg) and xylenes(36 mg/kg) concentrations detected in boring B-1 at 1' also
exceeded ESLs.
The report goes on to discuss the impacted groundwater.
My question to you is, "what is the proper way to notify you when I get these bad results"
Johnny Yoakum
Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1
