All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to Califomia Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #4 Safety Equipment MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The throw rope on the life ring is tangled up around the life ring and was in the pool. Untangle throw rope <br /> and maintain accessible for use (not a toy).Correct ASAP. <br /> Closure condition. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br /> minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br /> rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br /> (CCR 65540) <br /> r- <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The pool's chlorine level is 0.2ppm. Increase chlorine level to the range of 2.0 to 10.Oppm. Correct <br /> immediately. <br /> Closure condition. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION. Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid,2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine.(CCR 65529) <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The pH level in the pool is below 7.0. Adjust the pool pH to the range of 7.2 to 7.8.
