All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Location address. Post address of location on signs within one week. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operatorshall keep safety signs well maintained.(CCR 65535)Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole, gate, or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 31208) <br /> #9 Ladders and Handrails <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Loose Hand rail. Tighten loose handrail into the deep pool entrance within two week. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Ameans of entry and exit shall be provided at both the shallow and deep end of the pool. Ladders and <br /> handrails shall be corrosion resistant and shall be rigidly installed.At least one handrail shall extend from the deck to not less than a point <br /> above the top of the lowest step. Handrails shall be installed between 28 to 36 inches above the steps and deck.(CBC 31118)Pool <br /> operator shall keep ladders and handrails well maintained.(CCR 65535) <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br /> OBSERVATIONS: No Residual Chlorine in pool. Provide acceptable range between 2pp and 10ppm <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid,2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanudc acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine.
