Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Emergency signage lacks the name and address of the pool facility.Write in the pool facility's name and <br /> address on the emergency signage today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operatorshall keep safety signs well maintained.(CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole,gate, or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified.(CBC 3120B) <br /> #13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The cyanuric acid level is greater than 100 ppm. Decrease CYA level to 100ppm or less. Correct by next <br /> pool season. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION. Pool operatorshall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) <br /> #15 Operation Records <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Daily logs are lacking. Start maintaining daily logs on site today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall test the disinfectant residual,pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. <br /> Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br /> necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm. Pool operator shall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results <br /> for at least two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request.
