All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Chlorine level was under 3 ppm(corrected).Maintain spa level between 3-10 ppm <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open orin use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid,2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine.(CCR 65529) <br /> #11 Combined Chlorine Concentration <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Combined chlorine level is high. Shock spa and keep level under 0.4 ppm <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain combined chlorine concentration below 0.4 ppm.(CCR 65530) Chemical quality <br /> of pool water and indoor air quality at the pool site shall not cause adverse physiological effects, such as irritation of the eyes,lungs, or <br /> skin.(CCR 65531) <br /> #22 SkimmerAssembl <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Skimmers lack weir doors. Provide by 2 weeks(repeat) <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br /> maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 31368) <br /> #23 Pool Inlets and Outlets <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Two of the main drain covers have pieces that broke off. Replace them by 2 weeks. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Inlet fitting shall not protrude greater than 1 inch into the pool and shall be rounded and smooth. Wall inlets <br /> shall be capable of adjusting the direction of flow. Each pool shall be provided with a main drain submerged suction outlet typically located <br /> at the bottom of the pool. (CBC 31378) <br /> #35 Flow Meters <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Flow meter is dirty.
