All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Diarrhea sign not posted. Post sign that anyone with diarrhea within the last 14 days cannot be in the <br />pool in 3 days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specked. (CBC 31208) <br />#9 Ladders and Handrails <br />OBSERVATIONS: Diving pool east handrail loose. Tighten in 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: A means of entry and exit shall be provided at both the shallow and deep end of the pool. Ladders and <br />handrails shall be corrosion resistant and shall be dgidly installed. At least one handrail shall extend from the deck to not less than a point <br />above the top of the lowest step. Handrails shall be installed between 28 to 36 inches above the steps and deck. (CBC 31118) Pool <br />operator shall keep ladders and handrids well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br />#19 Depth Markers <br />OBSERVATIONS: One depth marker by the handrail of the west steps faded. Repaint or clean to make clearly visible. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Depth markers shall be clearly marred in the following locations: at maximum depth, at minimum depth, at <br />each end, on both sides at each end, at the slope break, and along the perimeter of the pool at distances not to exceed 25 feet. Depth <br />markers shall be 4 inches high in a contrasting color and be marked in units of feet and inches. For pool water depths 6 feet and <br />shallower, markers with universal "NO DI VING " symbol shall be installed on the deck directly adjacent to the depth markers. (CBC 311 OB) <br />#22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Skimmers basket dirty. Clean in 3 days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 31368) <br />#35 Flow Meters <br />OBSERVATIONS: Flow meter seems to be stuck. Repair or replace. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Flow meters shall be provided on each recirculation system and shall be installed in accordance with <br />manufacturer's specifications.
