Stockton, CA <br />TABLE 8.1 <br />AIR MONITORING EXPOSURE LIMITS <br />Exposure Limits Response Actions <br />PID readings at or above 1.0 ppm and • Conduct colorimetric detector tube tests. <br /><10 ppm and sustained for 15 minutes. • If negative, continue work with continuous PID <br />monitoring. <br />• Continue detector tube monitoring once every <br />60 minutes. If detector tubes indicate positive <br />for VOCs, stop work and reevaluate necessity <br />to don Level C PPE (includes full face air <br />purifying respirator with organic vapor <br />cartridges). , <br />PID readings >10 ppm and <25 ppm • Continue Level C PPE <br />• Conduct colorimetric detector tube tests every <br />30 minutes. <br />PID readings >25 ppm • Evacuate work area and notify appropriate <br />personnel. <br />• Work resumes when appropriate corrective <br />measures are implemented or air <br />contamination levels are reduced to <br />acceptable limits. <br />28 Star Resources Corp
